I promised myself I’d spend the day writing the Mima Mounds chapter for the eventual book (Geology Underfoot in Western Washington, Mountain Press Publishing). But too easily distracted. Here is a page describing a new erratic to be investigated on Edmonds Way, if you are in the Edmonds area. It is well-lithified breccia, possibly volcaniclastic, but whether it is submarine or perhaps intracaldera fill I can’t tell. Feel free to take a look yourself and tell us what you think.
Go to the Edmonds Way erratic page.
